School Visits

We work closely with the Department of Education and Children to ensure our workshops incorporate key elements of the Curriculum.

Education Services

Our Education Team organise educational activities at all our sites. They also provide a teaching and advisory service for Island and visiting educational groups.

We provide free entry to our Sites for pre-booked educational visits and free educational workshops to all Manx Schools.

General Educational Visits

General visits are free to pre-booked Manx school groups organised by teachers who lead their own visit to any Manx National Heritage site.

We recommend that teachers make a free advance visit to sites when they prepare their own teaching materials. If you wish to do this, indicate the preferred date and time on the general visit permit application.

To book a general, teacher led visit to any of our sites please contact enquiries@mnh.gov.im

Educational Workshops

Workshops are offered to Manx schools throughout the academic year.

To view content and suitability of workshops please select the related Key Stage. The average length of these sessions is 1- 1 ½ hours but they can be varied to suit your needs. If you wish to study a particular area not already listed please contact us and we will try to accommodate your request.
