A firm favourite in the summer calendar with many Island venues taking part including The Grove Museum and The Old Grammar School. The theme for this year’s flowers is ‘Supporting Achievement’.

‘Cultivating the Country Garden’ – The Grove Museum, Ramsey
Flowers by The Manx Plant and Garden Society
The floral theme at the country home, celebrates avid gardeners and the achievements of growing and maintaining a beautiful garden. The Grove boasts wildflowers, herb gardens, vegetable gardens and an orchard. And not to forget the busy bees in the Grove’s working beehive.

Bring a picnic or enjoy hot and cold drinks from the Grove Museum Shop.

‘Growing Ambition’ – The Old Grammar School, Castletown
Flowers by The Friends of Manx National Heritage
A pop up display will feature among an inspired display of flowers, celebrating Headteacher J T Whiksey, who supported achievement encouraging many of his pupils from the Grammar School to take the King Williams Colleges entrance exam to gain a scholarship. Many of them did. Under repair and conservation this historic building will reopen specially for the Flower Festival.

Collect a programme from participating venues or visit The Flower Festival is kindly supported by Connect2Charity and Culture Vannin.
