An exhibition of oil paintings, watercolours, pencil sketches, graphic designs and photographs by One of Manxland’s Most Gifted Sons.
Nicholson’s work was compared to Turner, one of Britain’s greatest artists, and his work was greatly admired by John Ruskin, the leading Victorian art critic. Together with newspaper accounts and archives, this special exhibition tells the story of Nicholson’s life.
